THE SHLIPP COMIX COLLECTION
Willi Saunders
1994 - 1997
In the 90’s I put out a bunch of self-published comics from home in Whanganui with the aid of a work photocopier
(Thanks Tearaway Magazine!) and NZ post.
Shlipp Comix #1 and #2 were printed and released while in Auckland before a move to London in 1997.
Photocopiers are a bit better nowadays, and scanners were invented, so for this 2017 re-release,
the signed and numbered limited edition of 40 pack contains:

Shlipp Commix #1
24 pages 1995
Laff riots and joke funnies abound in this remastered edition - fragile states of mind and dark deeds by creepy cartoon characters point their inky scrawl towards the shape of things to come.
Shlipp Commics #2
24 pages 1996
Original 1996 pressing. Pithy rejects and foolish idiots roam the pages - careless and unthinking, with little regard for those forced to share the same panels - Uproarious laffs for sick individuals.
Shlipp Commics #3
24 pages 1994 - 1997
Lights Out! The spark dies an ignominious death with endings and formation quickly unravelling from the rare, unseen and early strips, to the abandoned art that nearly almost was.

MINI COMICS
Flying Funnies #2 - The worlds first comic made from a paper dart - Every joke a nose-dive!
Marsupial Crackers and The Singing Spoon - A4 3-fold detailing the sad tale of hidden talent discovered, only to then be carelessly discarded in a fit of pique.
Hal & Lottie #2 - Hal’s warm and thoughtful countenance continues as per usual. This was the last comic produced.
Curious Maladies - A CD of the solo ‘music’ that came after the ‘art’.
(Now with added music review wrapping)
